The ProMarker Ultra Fine nib is an optional extra attachment and ‘clicks’ easily and securely into place over the top of the bullet tip, transforming ProMarker into an ultra versatile, interchangeable 3 nib marker!

We’ll also be making these nibs available separately for those of you that already have lots of ProMarkers. These will be available in packs of three which you can read about HERE.

The ProMarker Ultra-Fine nib is perfect for coloured line work, detailing, adding highlights and also for colouring small, delicate areas on your design. Visit your local ProMarker retailer today and add a new dimension to your ProMarkers!

*mouth drops* I’ve got to have one of these! Can they be transferred from one pen to another for blending color?

This is just what we have been waiting for. They will be so useful for colouring smaller images and also for fine detailed work. Plus you can then doodle with them – fantastic

The nibs are an optional extra, ProMarker will still have two standard nibs (bullet and chisel) and the ultra-fine nibs will need to be bought separately.

We’ve tried to keep the price as low as possible and we forsee that most ProMarker users will just buy a few ultra-fine nibs to use with their most often used colours.

This is something that I have been wishing you would do for a while. I have a full set of Promarkers now and I hope that they are interchangeable between pens or it’s going to cost me a fortune to get one to do them all! Can’t wait to get hold of some! xx

  8. Letraset Paul June 21, 2011 at 5:10 pm #

These will be available to buy separately within the coming weeks and we’ve tried to keep them priced as low as possible. Keep an eye on this blog for more details.

We wouldn’t recommend that you change them between pens as you would need to completely flush the nib of colour before replacing due to the chance of colour contamination.

Hurrah!! Been waiting a while for these, thank you for listening to your customers!

This is awesome. Now if you could add a brush tip I’d be able to stop buying any other kinds!! :)

  15. Clare Tayler June 22, 2011 at 9:33 am #

I am so happy to see these new nibs. Promarkers give a lovely effect but sometimes the bullet nib makes them difficult to use for certain projects. I am sure these new nibs will make a big difference.

  16. Emma Gee June 22, 2011 at 10:56 am #

WOW! These look brilliant – always trying to find a way to be extra-fine with the bullet tip!

  17. aunty sue June 22, 2011 at 10:59 am #

oh i have just got to have some of these but sadly no local stockist near me please hurry and get them on your site.

  18. Sandie June 22, 2011 at 11:28 am #

These look very promising! I agree with the previous commenter that a brush tip would be ideal too ;)

  19. Debbie June 22, 2011 at 12:56 pm #

What a brilliant idea!! Can’t wait to start using them, they’re going to make such a difference!!

  20. Helen V June 22, 2011 at 1:30 pm #

Wow they look brilliant and I definitely need them for my promarkers for all the detail work I do. What a fantastic idea! Will def be looking to get some.

  21. Suzi McKenzie June 22, 2011 at 5:16 pm #

OMGosh That’s nib is awesome, I think i’m going to need a few of those for my promarker collection. The hardest decision will be which pens to add them to first. Having the full promarker collection I don’t think i can afford an extra nib for each pen, wish I could tho:)
They will definately make detailed work easier
    Thank You

  22. Heather Santos June 22, 2011 at 8:50 pm #

Woo hoo! I’ve been hearing about these, but I wasn’t sure if the rumors were true. I can’t wait to add these to my collection!

  23. Marianne Fisher June 23, 2011 at 12:04 pm #

These are just what we need. I buy my PMs online and have most of the colours so won’t be able to get any with purchases. We only have 1 store that I know of in Norfolk which sells them and they are £2.30each so I never buy them there. Hope they will be available to buy on their own soon. I NEED some.

  24. Craftasmic June 23, 2011 at 7:12 pm #

We currently have very limited stock of the nibs…

  25. Beryl Weintraub June 23, 2011 at 7:27 pm #

Looking forward to being able to buy these.

    xx

  28. Karen June 24, 2011 at 11:09 pm #

I really really have to have these – I need them, did you hear, I NEED them.

What a fantastic idea, well done Letraset lol K

  29. Audrey June 29, 2011 at 9:24 pm #

    OMG just what I need.

  30. Anna July 9, 2011 at 12:38 pm #

These nibs give great results giving the thin lines they’re designed for, but I’ve found that they squash the tip of the bullet nib flat, which is a shame. Because of this I’ll probably only be using them sparingly with a few of the darker pens.

  31. Kat Hubbard July 26, 2011 at 6:43 pm #

    Ooh!

    I have 2 questions,

    1) will my pens, once the ultrafine nib and lid are on, still fit in my promarker wallets?
    2) Can I use it over the chisel nib instead? I NEVER use that end, so it would be much better for me to be able to have the bullet at one end and the superfine at the other,.

    Thanks :)

    Kat

    • Letraset Paul July 27, 2011 at 9:20 am #

      Hi Kat,

      1) Yes the ultra-fine nib only makes your ProMarkers every so slightly larger, so no problems fitting them in the wallets.

      2) Unfortunately they only fit over the bullet point end.
