How you colour hair can make a huge difference to the overall look of a person, so it’s important that you get the look you’re after.
In this tutorial we’ll be using reds and browns to colour a full head of red hair.
Once you’ve given this technique a go, you can also try selecting four of your own colours to get the exact colour hair you are looking for.
You’ll notice I’ve picked four similar colours which run from light to dark.

For this red hair, we’ll be using four colours.
ProMarker: Walnut, Henna, Burnt Orange
FlexMarker: Firebrick
I start with Walnut and work in sections.
I’m colouring the darkest sections, where I want the shadows to be and where the least amount of light will fall.
Next I use Henna over the the Walnut, extending out a little further towards the center of the section.
We then use Firebrick working back over the Henna & Walnut, once again working slightly further towards the center.
Finally we use Burnt Orange over the whole section, meeting the colours in the middle and completing this section.
Now we can move onto the next section and repeat this technique…
